Since 1999, SCL has delivered engineering and project management services on some of the most challenging and ground-breaking infrastructure projects in the US.

We are currently seeking innovative Quality Management professionals to join our Seattle and Los Angeles project teams. The Quality Manager performs a variety of duties to develop and manage quality assurance programs for design and construction of capital improvement programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• QA oversight of Civil and Systems engineering design, integration, and construction work including communications systems, civil and systems integration, signals, electrical systems design and design/build construction.

• Technical support for a variety of tasks related to quality assurance assessments and quality control on rail and transit design and construction packages.

• Monitor and review work of consultants and contractors.
• Verify compliance of inspection, testing, and integrated testing programs from concept through close-out
• Lead quality assurance audits/surveillance/assessments on design and construction submittal reviews
• Interface with design and construction personnel

• Develop Quality plans, analysis, studies, reports, manuals, and training.

• Prepare reports, assessments, and submittal review comments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as discipline lead managing engineering team on transportation, rail and/or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge and background in regulatory compliance
• Ability to perform quality assurance and quality control on design and construction projects.
• Familiarity with advanced principles of systems engineering
• Ability to audit vertical and horizontal construction, signal, communications, traction power, OCS, rail stations and tunnels.
• ASQ certification preferred. 
• Mandatory 11 years' experience as Quality Engineer or manager

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, professional registration engineer, or certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) preferred.

QUALITY AUDITOR CERTIFICATION CQA

 Minimum eleven (11) years of proven related experience in design, construction management of transportation, rail, public transit, highway systems, or equivalent. Excellent oral and written abilities.
