We are looking for exceptional people to provide extraordinary care as a Quality Services Coordinator, RN.
In this position, you would be responsible for fostering an approach to continuously improving quality; establishing quality improvement responsibilities; setting strategic priorities for quality assessment and improvement. Assisting with the development, review and analysis of all elements of the QI program.
Hours: Full time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Monday – Friday
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Implements the written QI and Risk Management Plan to include Patient Safety.
Identifies and tracks ongoing key quality indicators, including but not limited to patient satisfaction and post-operative complications.
Coordinates the development and submission of the patient questionnaire data report to include running, reviewing and analyzing patient satisfaction reports and comments. Completes follow up as needed.
Maintains tracking logs and reports trends at QAPI meeting.
Assists in the identification of potential solutions/corrective actions to resolve identified problem or to provide improvement in care.
Meets with representatives of each department to identify areas for review and improvement and assists in the development of criteria, plans, standards, policies, and goals.
Collaborates with Education Department and/or Unit Director to develop ‘just in time’ training to ensure that personnel understands the criteria used for measuring, assessing and evaluating improvements.
Ensure the organization meets regulatory standards and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to Patient Safety, Risk Management, Infection Prevention and Quality Improvement. Uploads reports required by regulatory bodies on time.
Coordinates abstraction of patient charts for core quality measures, prepared data reports and other mandatory data collection for reporting.
Participate in all regulatory body on site reviews including but not limited to CMS, OSHA and State Surveyors.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse. Current licensure from a compact state requires Nebraska to be declared as their primary state of residence within thirty (30) days and must also obtain a Nebraska temporary permit or nursing license.
Quality improvement experience and knowledge of QI processes such as PDSA, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
Quality experience and knowledge to include but not limited to NHSN, AORN, and CMS.
