The Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting Res’ quality management system and aiding in customer communication relative to part quality. In addition, this role will focus on problem solving, elimination of waste, and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the management of the Corrective and Preventive Action Request (CPAR) system including interface with customers for product non-conformances including sorting activities, billing, etc.
Utilize problem solving tools (i.e., 8D) for CAR resolution.
Assist with company-wide efforts to reach pre-determined performance goals relative to timeliness of completion and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Assist with the preparation of Management Review Meetings including metrics, minutes, handouts, etc.
Manage document request changes including procedures, instructions, PFMEA, control plans, quality masters, standards, etc., and ensure documents are accurate and current.
Participate as a quality system Internal Auditor.
Coordinate ongoing maintenance and analysis of key metrics.
Create/update Visual Aids/Work Instructions for work cells, inspections, gages, etc.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Three years’ experience in a similar Quality role
Demonstrated ability to use problem-solving techniques, including 8D
Strong math, reading and writing skills
Strong communication and listening skills
Experience with certified quality management systems (ISO, IATF 16949)
