The primary responsibilities of this role, Screening Team Lead, are to:
Collaborate with research teams in the development of experimental and technical protocols, best practices, and LIMS systems for data capture, interrogation, and analysis;
Establish high-throughput screening processes that conform to industry quality standards and efficiency;
Lead and mentor junior scientists;
Coordinate and manage scientists to deliver plant, insect, nematode and fungal cell-based assays to support portfolio projects;
Implement screens leveraging high content imaging technologies as appropriate;
Drive innovation and ensures scientific excellence through internal scientific development, external collaborations, and maintains competitive awareness;
Partner with the Assay Development & MOA Team to develop and implement screens, both medium and high throughput;
Summarize and communicate technical data to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
M.S. or Ph.D. with experience in cell-based assay, phenotypic screening, or high throughput approaches to hit discovery and characterization;
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and develop people;
Expertise in High Throughput Screening, robotics, LIMS, and the application of statistics;
Strong strategy, innovation, experiment design and collaboration skills across disciplines;
Excellent leadership skills including leading, influencing, and partnering across geographies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience in cell-based assay, phenotypic screening, or high throughput approaches to hit discovery and characterization;
M.S. with 10+ years of experience in cell-based assay, phenotypic screening, or high throughput approaches to hit discovery and characterization.
