_{Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)}

• _{Lead the mill’s air quality program including TV AOP, PSD and minor NSR, greenhouse gas emissions, emission testing, and refrigerants/ODS}
• _{Support the mill’s NPDES wastewater and stormwater program including SPCC and SWPPP}
• _{Support the mill’s solid/hazardous waste program including RCRA/Washington state dangerous wastes, universal wastes, and electronic wastes}
• _{Support other mill’s environmental programs including EPCRA/CERCLA, SARA Tier II, and TRI}
• _{Coordinate and communicate with operating, maintenance, and engineering departments about environmental concerns and needed support}
• _{Perform and document various mill environmental compliance inspections}
• _{Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and other routine requests}
• _{Prepare a variety of regulatory reports that include data collection, calculations, accurate recordkeeping, and adherence to reporting deadlines}
• _{Assist with mill’s environmental training program}
• _{Perform other duties as assigned}

_{Required/Preferred Qualifications and Key Skills:}

• _{BS or MS degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, environmental sciences, pulp & paper science, or industrial engineering and/or equivalent education/experience}
• _{Five years or more of industrial experience is required. Washington state industrial experience is preferred. Experience in pulp and paper industry or heavy manufacturing is also preferred}
• _{Environmental Management System experience is preferred}

• _{Highly safety conscious with the ability to lead and influence improvements}

• _{Able to effectively work across disciplines to achieve business objectives}

• _{Ability to provide leadership, coaching and team problem solving skills}
• _{Solid problem solving and analytical skills}

• _{Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel}
