Review and interpret customer engineering and other technical data packages as assigned to ensure requirements are understood.
Review and approve internally created Qualified Seyer Drawings. Coordinate with Draftsman and Manufacturing Planner as needed to resolve drawing issues.
Review and submit nonconforming product tags to customer Material Review Board for disposition. Follow-up and execute customer MRB disposition accordingly.
Manage and control discrepant/suspect product in the Quarantine Room to ensure product is contained, identified, processed, and released per internal procedure.
Track and evaluate product returned from the customer due to quality issue(s). Facilitate RMA process by supporting evaluation and rework planning efforts.
Support supplier quality process by performing verification and validation activities on received goods and assist with issuing Supplier Nonconformance Notifications.
Review and disposition internal Nonconformance Reports. Coordinate with Production as needed to resolve outstanding NCR issues.
Perform thorough inspections and testing of aerospace components, sub-assemblies, and finished product to verify compliance to engineering requirements.
Assist the FAI Planning process by performing FAI bubbling and pre-planning activities as assigned.
Assist Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned.
Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement
Investigate and analyze NCR data to identify trends. Support the Corrective Action Board and facilitate Root Cause Corrective Action activities as assigned.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as assigned to implement effective process improvements and perform verification of corrective actions for effectiveness.
Quality Management System
Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Seyer’s Quality Management System in alignment with aerospace industry standards (AS9100).
Assist with investigating, preparing, and submitting Notification of Escapes to affected customers as assigned.
Assist with responding to customer Root Cause Corrective Action requests as assigned.
