Situated in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Manchester Memorial Hospital has provided whole-person care to members of Clay, Jackson, and Owsley counties for 100 years. GENERAL SUMMARY:
 
The Pre-Registration Clerk pre-registers / pre-admits patients. They are responsible for verifying insurances; ensuring pre-cert number is obtained for certain procedures, estimating charges and collecting co-pays and deductibles. The clerk verifies insurance on all observation and inpatients, and makes payment arrangements.

  • Check in/out patients
  • Determine copay amounts due
  • Scheduling appointments
Qualifications
What you will need:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Related clerical experience equivalent to six months
  • Related coding and billing procedure experience
