Senior Systems/Mechanical Engineer
NSI requires a Senior Systems/Mechanical Engineer to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Adversary Fleet Support Team (FST) supporting the F-5N aircraft and engines (J-85). The Senior Aircraft Mechanical Engineer will develop detailed solutions for technical, operational, and maintenance problems including assist maintenance in troubleshooting/repair of the rigging of aircraft control systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, pressurization systems. This position may include repair/troubleshooting of aircraft engines.  Whether supporting aircraft systems or engine systems, the engineer will be responsible for reviewing current technical maintenance manuals for accuracy and submit appropriate "red-line" changes to correct any publication deficiencies.
