NOT A REMOTE POSITION. WORK LOCATION IS IN LAS VEGAS, NV
Position Summary: Develops and manages the risk management activities for the hospital by integrating information obtained from the reporting of adverse events, near misses, root cause analysis, complaints, and grievances. Reviews findings and collaborates with Center for Quality and Patient Safety staff, managers and directors to develop responsive programs that enhances the hospital's culture to support patient safety, mitigate risk, and reduce exposure.
Education/Experience: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in a Health Care/Hospital Administration or related field and three (3) years of experience in Healthcare Risk Management.
Licensing/Certification Requirements: Valid License by the Nevada State Board of Nursing to Practice as a Registered Nurse, and; Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required within one (1) year of hire.

Recent Documented Preference:
Master's Degree
Three (3) years documented Healthcare Risk Management experience.
