Position Summary     This position plays a central role in the Mouse Genetics Core breeding program. Leads work necessary to establish germline transmission and maintain independent mouse lines in a timely fashion, including but not limited to ensuring the integrity of the genetic modifications in individual animals by sequencing and transferring and/or cryopreserving models as appropriate to meet the needs of the researcher.    Essential Duties     Organizes and implements complex breeding colony management through timed matings, careful handling of animals for mouse identification, health monitoring and weaning.
