Monthly Salary $9,758.74 - $12,530.00 The City of Stockton is seeking to fill a Principal Civil Engineer position to oversee a Development Engineering Section in the Stockton Permit Center under the Community Development Department. The Principal Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing engineering staff that perform reviews of improvement plans for public infrastructure, subdivision maps, lot line adjustments/mergers in accordance with the Subdivision Map Act, all for the ultimate consideration and approval by the City Engineer; and issue encroachment permits for all construction and related activities that occur within the City of Stockton rights-of-way.
