Assistant Professor, Hematology and Hematopathology
The University of Chicago's Department of Pathology is searching for a full-time faculty member at assistant professor rank in Hematopathology. The appointee will have clinical responsibilities in hematopathology and the clinical hematology laboratory and will participate in the interpretation of lymph node and bone marrow specimens, flow cytometry studies and section quality improvement activities. The Hematopathology service provides support to other pathology services such as surgical pathology and cytopathology in interpretation and ancillary studies of the cases related to hematologic disorders. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Strong interest and prior training in flow cytometry is desired.Hematopathol
