Specific requirements of the position include:
Coordinating new product launches and repurposing of existing equipment on assigned machine lines
Overseeing design changes in tooling, fixtures and gages
Leading Kaizen and other improvement activities
Influencing Quality & Production to realize cost reductions through greater efficiencies
Managing line efficiencies with a focus on safety and ergonomics
Working with outside vendors to ensure smooth project integration with minimal impact to current production
The ability and desire to occasionally travel internationally for projects
Successful candidates will possess:
Engineering Degree with focus in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing preferred
Entry level to 3 years’ experience
Ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment
Great project and time management skills
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD design software
Systematic troubleshooting abilities/root cause analysis
Working knowledge of GD&T principles
Strong sense of ownership
Relevant experience in a CNC machining preferred
