Join an established and nationally recognized multidisciplinary clinical and research team led by Christa Lese Martin, PhD, and David H. Ledbetter, PhD, at Geisinger’s Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI), in collaboration with the University of Florida, Jacksonville.
We seek talented clinical and research trainees to work on one or more NIH-funded projects investigating genomic etiologies of neurodevelopmental psychiatric disorders, including autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and schizophrenia. ADMI offers a stimulating opportunity for professional growth toward exciting careers in healthcare, bioinformatics, genomics, and beyond.
We are seeking qualified doctoral-level (PhD or MD) candidates with relevant experience to:
Participate in multidisciplinary team research related to specific projects or initiatives
Develop research protocols and work plans under the mentorship of a principal investigator
Expand knowledge and skills related to genomic analysis of large datasets
Present research findings at meetings and scientific conferences
Cultivate relationships with external clinical, academic, and research collaborators
Specific educational qualifications and job responsibilities vary, depending on project requirements. Highly qualified Master’s-level candidates may be considered. Positions include regular on-site meetings with options for hybrid remote work at locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida.
