Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an opening for an entry-level structural engineer in our Food & Beverage group. Responsibilities include assisting with structural design and analysis of facilities comprised of steel and concrete; shop drawing reviews; reviewing and editing structural specifications and generating structural plans with oversight by a senior engineer. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, structural or architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or be able to obtain the degree within six months of hire date.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
Steel, concrete, masonry, or wood design
International Building Code and/or ASCE 7
RISA, RAM, TEDDS, or ENERACLC software
Microsoft Excel
Revit
