The University of California Davis' School of Medicine seeks an inaugural Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs to join the Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM). The incoming Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs will be a highly skilled and engaging visionary. They will serve as a faculty member and a leader in the Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Associate or Full Professor rank. The successful candidate will provide leadership at the department level across all educational programs. Additionally, they will represent DFCM in the UC Davis School of Medicine and collaborate with the leadership teams of our community-based clinical and training partners, which include three federally qualified health centers and a Veterans Administration hospital.
