This person acts as a facilitator of the hospital's Infection Control and Prevention Program, and as a clinical resource for infection prevention. He/she will develop and implement strategies to prevent, identify, track and contain infections, and educate all staff on principles of infection prevention. He/she will be responsible for data collection, aggregation, analysis and reporting of patient infections and will facilitate quality and performance improvement teams and programs focused on infection prevention
